“In response to the earthquake disaster in Haiti, NEW GPC INC. hereby pledges G$8,000,000.00 in the form of Pharmaceutical and Medical supplies to the Guyana Relief Fund for Haiti.
The items donated include: Anti-biotic, Cough and Cold Expectorants, Pain relievers, Burn Cure Creams and Pampers among many others.

| NEW GPC INC honors top CSEC student. |
The NEW GPC INC. presented a cellular phone and hamper to Guyana`s top student in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC). The Queen`s Collage (Q.C) student Padminee Roshundatt (16), who secured 14, Grades One`s of which 12 are distinctions is now furthering her studies at QC`s Sixth Form. NEW GPC INC. Marketing Manager Trevor Bassoo said that this token is to congratulate as well as motivate the top student on her CSEC success and her future endeavors.

| Manufacture of Anti-Retrovirals |

| Flood Relief 2005 |
In 2005, the citizens of Guyana benefitted greatly from NEW GPC`s expeditious preparedness. This readiness stemmed from the company`s pre-stocking of medical supplies/raw materials and the company`s aptitude building in earlier years. The company responded with the vital medicines during that difficult period, which also included the importation of additional necessitated pharmaceuticals on a timely basis.
Some of the essential medicines produced were for dehydration, vomiting and diarrhea, respiratory problems and various skin conditions. Additionally, NEW GPC INC. also supplied other pharmaceuticals which included doxycycline (used as a prophylaxis for leptospirosis), antibiotics, cottons wool, gauze, gloves, syringes and much more.

| Sprinkles |
In 2004, NEW GPC INC. initiated the manufacture of micronutrient sprinkles which are used to reduce the incidence of anemia in both infants and pregnant women. Through the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with NEW GPC INC., sprinkles are being distributed nationwide.
